RMS Requests
DCP with Iceland as RMS
IMA has recently started to take on the role of a Reference Member State in DC-procedures. Since that time IMA has received more requests for time slots than the agency is currently able to accommodate. IMA is ambitious to actively participate in assessment of marketing authorisation applications but being one of the smallest medicines agencies within the EEA it is restricted by resources of experts.
The HMA (Heads of Medicines Agencies) has started an initiative to reach a common approach towards addressing the issues of resources for assessment of applications and differences in policies of allocating time slots throughout the EEA. A common RMS request form has been agreed upon.
Request for time slots for applications via the Decentralised Procedure (DCP) with Iceland acting as a Reference Member State:
At the moment no slots are available due to number of ongoing procedures and limited resources of experts. Further information will be published in October 2010.
