Classification of herbs and other organisms
Definitions of classifications featuring on the lists:
A = General product
B = Import prohibited, the ingredient is banned in a general product (ingredient toxic/undesirable or classified as pharmaceutically active)
C = Assessed individually, depends on concentration of ingredients
N = A marketing authorisation must be sought for as a natural medicine.
The attached list is not exhaustive and is updated regularly.
